A night with local musicians raising funds for guitarist Darrin Craig as he recovers from injury and surgery.
Portland Country Underground headlines the Carin' For Darrin: Darrin Craig Benefit Show on Tuesday, October 13, at the Show Bar inside Revolution Hall. It's a night put together by local musicians to raise money for Darrin Craig, a longtime Portland guitarist and songwriter who's spent years playing in Jackstraw, Portland Country Underground and Meridian. He's currently recovering from injury and surgery, and the funds go toward his physical and financial recovery.
Along with Portland Country Underground, the bill features Jackstraw, Denver (the Band), and Pete Krebs and FMR Family. It's a lineup that pulls from the same circles Craig has played in for years, so you'll hear a good cross-section of the city's roots and country scene across the night. The show is presented by Show Bar, and it's for ages 21 and up.
