The Jayhawks perform live at Revolution Hall in Portland, with special guest Mary Gauthier.
The Jayhawks play Revolution Hall on Saturday, December 5, with Mary Gauthier opening. The show starts at 8 PM, and the venue is at 1300 SE Stark St in Portland.
The Jayhawks formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and have been a cornerstone of the Americana and alternative country scene for decades, built on harmonious vocals and songwriting. Their catalog runs from the alt-country classics that made them famous, such as "Blue" from the album Tomorrow the Green Grass, to more recent work including the 2020 album XOXO and their acclaimed new record Sanctuary Park, which yielded the single "American Midnight."
The current lineup is Gary Louris, Marc Perlman, Tim O'Reagan, and Karen Grotberg. With Mary Gauthier opening, it's a full night of Americana on one stage. Revolution Hall is a beautifully restored historic Portland venue and operates as a cashless room, so leave the cash at home and bring a card.
