Concert by the alternative pop band almost monday, with support from IN COLOR and EDGEHILL, at the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom.
almost monday play the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom on Wednesday, December 16, with IN COLOR and EDGEHILL opening. The trio hails from San Diego, where they got their start in a surf shop—three friends, Dawson Daugherty on vocals, Cole Clisby on guitar, and Luke Fabry on bass, shaping a sound they describe as "the definition of a California state of mind."
They've spent the last few years building a steady presence on alternative radio. Their early breakout "broken people" earned a Sofi Tukker remix, and they followed it with "sun keeps on shining" and "can't slow down," the latter hitting #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. They opened 2026 with "leaving is easy," followed by "no more regrets" and, more recently, "skinny dip."
That momentum has translated into some recognition: a 2026 iHeart Music Awards nomination for Best New Alternative Artist, a set at BottleRock in May, and tours with Young the Giant and Cold War Kids. They've passed 1.5 billion streams, made their late-night TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and collaborated with Jordana on "jupiter."
