Comedy show featuring Bradley Walsh, Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale, inspired by the Rat Pack.
The Prat Pack play Plymouth Arena on Saturday 12 September, bringing together four of the UK's best-known comedy entertainers for one night. The line-up is Bradley Walsh, Brian Conley, Shane Richie and Joe Pasquale โ four names you'll recognise from a fair few different places. Walsh is the face of The Chase and Gladiators; Conley has his own show and a stint in EastEnders; Richie is also an EastEnders regular and has done I'm a Celebrity...; and Pasquale has appeared on I'm a Celebrity... and Dancing On Ice. They're all close friends off-stage, and that's a good part of what the show is built on.
The whole thing is their own take on the Rat Pack, inspired by the legendary performances of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford. It's a mix of music and comedy, with the four of them trading lines and singing together rather than taking separate turns. They're backed by a 15-piece band, so there's a full sound behind them rather than just a few tracks. The camaraderie between them is a big part of the draw โ they're not just sharing a stage, they're actually mates, and that comes through in the banter.
If you're not familiar with the Rat Pack, it was the mid-century group of singers and entertainers who became famous for their effortless chemistry and the way they played off each other. That's exactly what The Prat Pack is aiming for here: the music, the comedy, and the genuine friendship between the four of them. It's a night that leans as much on the chemistry between the performers as it does on the individual acts.
