Monthly street food festival celebrating international cuisines with diverse dishes including Caribbean curries, Indian, pasta, Greek, Asian fusion, gourmet burgers, and vegetarian options.
Tavistock Street Food Festival returns to Bedford Square on Saturday 27 June, part of the monthly street food series that runs through the summer. It's a free event, so there's no ticket to book — you just turn up and pick your way through the stalls.
The food is the whole point here. It's a global spread, with Caribbean curries, Indian dishes, pasta, Greek specialties, and Asian fusion all running alongside gourmet burgers. There are vegetarian and vegan options too, and plenty of desserts to finish on. Because it's a monthly thing, the line-up of cuisines tends to shift, so it's worth having a look around to see what's on the day.
It's an all-ages affair, so it works as a family outing as much as a casual afternoon with friends. The whole thing is outdoors in Bedford Square, which makes it a decent spot for a social wander rather than a sit-down meal. You can grab a plate from one stall, move on to another, and keep going as long as you fancy.
