Monthly fair in Plymouth featuring original artwork, handmade crafts, artisan gifts, and local food stalls.
The Street Arts, Crafts and Food Fair returns to Old Town Street on Saturday 18 July, one of its regular monthly stops in the city centre. It's a fair that brings together independent artists, makers and small creative businesses from across the region, all setting up shop along the street for the day. If you're into things made by hand rather than off a shelf, it's a good one to have on your radar.

The range of what you'll find is pretty broad. There's original art and prints, handmade jewellery and textiles, ceramics, and work in glass and wood. You'll also come across eco-friendly and recycled crafts, artisan gifts and home decor. Alongside the makers, there are stalls with artisanal food and local produce, so it works as a bit of a market day as much as an art fair. It's the kind of place where you can pick up a proper gift or just wander and see what people have been making.
It's a recurring event, so if you can't make this one, there are more dates to look out for throughout the year. The fair runs on the last Saturday of most months, with other 2026 dates on 27-28 June, 22-23 August, 26-27 September and 24-25 October. If you're a maker yourself and want to get a stall, you can get in touch at enquiries@plymouthartgallery.co.uk.
On the day, the fair runs from 10:00 to 18:00 at Old Town Street, PL1 1DA, and it's free to attend. There's also a little extra if you fancy a break: you can get 50% off hot drinks at Olive & Twist if you pick up a leaflet in the shop. It's a straightforward day out in the centre, so you can just drift in and out whenever suits.
