A community skate jam with open indoor and outdoor skating sessions, live music, and food and drink from The Box Kitchen and Bar, Zephyr Burgers and Stringers Kitchen.
Skate Jam comes to The Box on Friday 28 August, from 17:30 to 20:00. It's a community skate event run in partnership with The Box Kitchen and Bar and Zephyr Burgers, and it's open to all ages and abilities, so it doesn't matter if you've been riding for years or you're just getting on a board.
The main thing is open skating sessions, both indoors and outdoors, with live music from Calvin Thomas running through the evening. If you're looking for people to roll with, you'll find local community skaters there, including Prime, Plymouth Flow and Skate to the Max. It's as much about meeting up and skating with others as it is about the skating itself.
When you need a break, there's food and drink from The Box Kitchen and Bar, Zephyr Burgers and Stringers Kitchen. Between the skating, the music and the food, it's a full evening rather than just a quick session.
