Paul Smith: HAPPY

Paul Smith brings his new show, HAPPY, to Plymouth Pavillion on Friday 12 March 2027. It's part of a 2026/2027 world tour that's his widest yet, running through the UK, Ireland, Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, following sold-out runs and viral success across the globe.

HAPPY is billed as the biggest and boldest show of his career, and it leans hard into the things he's known for. There's a lot of crowd work, the kind of razor-sharp observation that picks apart the small things, and true stories told for laughs. He describes it as stand-up at full throttle — fast, fearless, and relentlessly funny, with plenty of audience interaction and stories pulled straight from real life about finding joy in the chaos and laughter in the everyday. If you've seen him before, this is that same approach pushed to a new level.

It's a brand-new show, so you'll be hearing material he's been working on for this tour rather than a best-of from previous years. The crowd work means a good chunk of the night depends on who's in the room, so no two shows end up exactly the same.
