Free monthly art crawl with art, dance, music, shopping and dining along Penn Avenue, held on the first Friday of each month.
Unblurred: First Friday Art Crawl returns to Penn Avenue on Friday, February 5, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's part of First Friday on Penn, which is Pittsburgh's longest-running art crawl, held monthly along the 4800-5500 blocks of Penn Avenue. The crawl has been running since 1998, drawing visitors from across the region to a mix of art, dance, music, shopping and dining. It's pitched at art lovers, collectors, creatives and anyone inspired by visual arts, installations and exhibitions.
Because it's a crawl, the whole point is to move through the neighborhood rather than sticking to one spot. You'll find galleries, studios and other creative spaces open their doors along those same blocks of Penn Avenue, so you can wander from one to the next and see what's on display. The mix of art, dance, music, shopping and dining means it's not just about looking at paintings on a wall—there's often more going on than that.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Pittsburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a free event, and there's no registration needed, so you can just show up whenever you like between 6 PM and 10 PM. The crawl takes place on Penn Avenue from Mathilda Street to Negley Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
