The Savannah Bananas play a two-hour Banana Ball game against the Indianapolis Clowns at PNC Park.
The Savannah Bananas are returning to PNC Park on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7, 2027, for two nights of Banana Ball against the Indianapolis Clowns. Both games run two hours, so you're in and out in one evening rather than settling in for a long haul.
If you've never seen them, the Bananas started as a collegiate-level team in Savannah, Georgia, and went independent in 2022 after their in-stadium presentation went viral. They're often compared to basketball's Harlem Globetrotters, and that's a fair way to think about it: they recruit and pay their own players as well as those of their opponents, and they play by their own rules. They call it 'banana ball.' Every inning is worth one point except the last, where every run counts; bunters are ejected; the game cannot drag past two hours; and a foul ball caught by a fan counts as an out. The whole thing is wrapped in choreographed dances, all-yellow uniforms, funky player walk-ups and epic scoring celebrations.
These two games are part of the Banana Ball World Tour, and the 2027 leg is a massive one: 79 stadiums across 74 cities, with stops in Canada and Mexico. The Bananas are the main feature, taking on the Indianapolis Clowns for both dates.

One thing to keep in mind is how they handle tickets. They aren't sold the usual way. Instead, they go through a lottery: you join a list at BananaBall.com, and a random drawing in February determines who gets to buy. If you're planning to be there, that's the date to circle on your calendar.
