Mountain bike hill climb race with competitive and non-competitive heats for various rider categories.
Pittsburgh Dirty Dozen returns to Lake Dr on Saturday, October 24, for another mountain bike hill climb. It's a race that puts you on a climb, and the whole thing is built around that one push to the top.
There are two ways to ride it: competitive and non-competitive heats. If you're looking to clock a time and see where you stack up, the competitive heats are for you. If you just want to get your bike up the hill without the pressure of a leaderboard, the non-competitive heats let you ride your own pace. Both run on the same course, so you can choose the heat that fits how you're feeling that morning.
The race is broken down by rider category, which means you'll be riding against people in your own bracket rather than the whole field at once. Whether you're a seasoned climber or this is your first hill climb, there's a spot for you.
