A paint and sip class hosted by the local painting studio Paint Monkey at City Winery Pittsburgh.
Paint Monkey is hosting a paint and sip class at City Winery Pittsburgh on Friday, October 16. It's a straightforward setup: you paint, you sip, and you leave with something you made. If you've never done a paint and sip before, that's the whole point—it's about the process and the company as much as the painting itself.
Paint Monkey has a deep history in the city. It was started in 2012 by Pittsburgh native Mary Lou Bradley and her husband Joe Groom, who set out to bring people together through creativity and painting. What began as two studios in Lawrenceville has since grown to include locations in Cranberry and The Waterfront. Over the years, they've worked with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Pirates, PNC, Meta, and BNY, along with plenty of local companies, schools, and community groups. They've shared the joy of painting with nearly 35,000 people across those sessions.
The class takes place at City Winery Pittsburgh in the Strip District, a venue that pairs wine and food with seasonal dinners, interactive tastings, live music, and comedy. It's a spot that fits the vibe—you're in the heart of the neighborhood, and the wine is already on hand.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Pittsburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The session starts at 7 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM, so you've got plenty of time to settle in and grab a glass before the painting begins. Tickets start at $54.00.
