Monthly book club meeting hosted by the Pittsburgh Goodreads community, with food from local vendors, book discussion, and activities.
Page Turners Book Club meets at the Bakery Square Conservatory on Sunday, November 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM. It's hosted by @pghgoodreads, the Pittsburgh Goodreads community, and the whole thing is built around a simple idea: discovering, discussing, and connecting with other book lovers in the city.
Each month the club picks a new title, and that's what brings everyone together. You'll spend the morning chatting about the latest read with people who've also spent the last few weeks working through it. It's less of a formal critique and more of a conversation—the kind of thing that's easier to do when you're actually in a room with other readers rather than just posting on a forum. The discussion is the main event, but it's not the only thing happening.
While you're talking books, there's food from local vendors to munch on, and the afternoon rounds out with more vendors and activities. It's a slow-paced way to spend a Sunday morning, with the book discussion as the anchor and the food and browsing filling in the gaps. If you're coming from across town, parking is free for three hours in the North and South Garages, which takes the stress out of the drive.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Pittsburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
