Full-dome laser show that brings the '80s tunes and scenes of Stranger Things to life in the Buhl Planetarium.
Laser Stranger Things is playing at the Buhl Planetarium on Saturday, October 24, as part of a run that goes from Monday, October 5 through Saturday, October 31. It's one of the daytime laser shows the planetarium puts on throughout the month, with shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM.
The Buhl Planetarium, on the second floor of the Kamin Science Center, specializes in these daytime laser shows that blend vibrant colors and music, choreographed by the museum's own experts. Beyond the family matinees, they also stage rock-fueled after-hours laser events filled with psychedelic imagery and special effects set to artists like Journey, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Ozzy Osbourne and ABBA. This one takes you "into the upside-down in the safety of the dome," reinterpreting the '80s tunes and soundscapes of Stranger Things in full-dome laser light. Iconic scenes like "Running Up That Hill" and "Master of Puppets" are among them.
