Open house tour of an opera-lover's Fifth Avenue home with eight themed rooms, preceded by a kick-off party, presented by Pittsburgh Festival Opera.
Pittsburgh Festival Opera is opening up a private home for its Holiday Opera House Tour, running from Thursday, November 19, through Saturday, November 21. The tour is part of the company's 2026 season, All About the Voice, which brings intimate concerts by some of the world's most powerful voices to Pittsburgh audiences.
Rather than a traditional theater, the tour takes place at the Fifth Avenue home of Scott Cavanaugh and Ron Graham, who are opening their doors to the public. Inside, you'll walk through eight rooms, each curated and designed for the opera lover. It's a home tour in the most literal senseโa private residence transformed into a walk-through exhibition for a few days.
It's also part of a larger season for the company. Along with these intimate concerts, the 2026 schedule includes the 16th Annual Mildred Miller International Voice Competition and the Daniel G. and Carole L. Kamin Next Generation Artist Program, which pairs high school vocalists from across Western Pennsylvania with the company's professional artistic staff. The company is a member of OPERA America, the national service organization for opera.
