Annual all-nighter of Pittsburgh musicians at Thunderbird Music Hall, with a costume contest, photo booth and general admission standing room, for ages 21 and over.
Thunderbird Cafe hosts the Hellbender Ball on Saturday, October 24, the venue's annual celebration run in partnership with 91.3 WYEP. The night is billed as one where some of Pittsburgh's favorite musicians perform as their favorite musicians, so the whole thing leans into a bit of a costume party vibe. There's a photo booth for a commemorative photo and a costume contest, and the floor is general admission standing room only. The show is for ages 21 and over.
Five acts take the stage throughout the evening. Skye Burkett opens at 7:30 PM, followed by Posterchild at 8:15 PM and Anne Eliza at 9:00 PM. The costume contest happens at 9:30 PM, and livefromthecity takes over at 9:45 PM. Kahone Concept closes the night at 10:30 PM. The set times are approximate, so it's a long haul from the first note to the last.
