Ghost stories of old Pittsburgh told after dark on a one-hour night cruise of the Three Rivers, on Fridays and Saturdays through late October.
The Haunted Three Rivers Sightseeing Cruise is running from the Station Square Dock on Friday and Saturday nights through October 30. It's a one-hour tour of the Three Rivers, but instead of the usual city landmarks, the focus is on the ghost stories, hauntings, and folklore of old Pittsburgh. The stories are told after dark while you're out on the water, which does a lot of the heavy lifting for the atmosphere.
If you've done the regular Three Rivers Sightseeing Cruise, you know the drill: one hour, three rivers, and the captain telling the city's story. That one runs from April through November and is a good way to get your bearings on the water. The Haunted version is its spooky sister, swapping the general history for the city's ghost stories, and it only sails on Fridays and Saturdays through late October. The route can change depending on river and Coast Guard conditions, so the scenery might shift a bit from one trip to the next.
