Free hands-on Halloween-themed making session, a 'crafternoon' from the Hunt Library's Hands-On series.
Hands On: Halloween Harvest is happening at the Hunt Library on Wednesday, October 28, from 12 PM to 2 PM. It's a mid-day session, so you can drop in during a lunch break or between classes rather than carving out an entire evening.
The session is part of the University Libraries' Hands-On series, which is built around the idea of turning a library visit into a making session. They call it a 'crafternoon'—a few hours spent working with your hands instead of just browsing the stacks. This particular one is built around a Halloween theme, and the activity is called Halloween Harvest.
If you're not familiar with the setup, the Hands-On series is run by the University Libraries, and this one takes place in the Sustainability Studio inside the Hunt Library at Carnegie Mellon University. It's a drop-in format, so you don't have to be there for the full two hours if you're on a tight schedule; you can just stop by, make something, and head back to your day.
