Halloween party with live music, projections and art installations at Wood Street Galleries, part of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's Gallery Crawl.
Wood Street Galleries is hosting a Halloween party on Friday, October 30, and it's one of those nights where the music and the art happen in the same room. The party is presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust as part of the galleries' concert and live-music series, and it doubles as one of the stops on the Gallery Crawlโthe Trust's free, multi-venue open house that runs through the Cultural District and draws thousands of people for visual arts, live music, dance and spoken word.
On the music side, Aaron Dilloway is celebrating a record release, and he's joined by Beau Wanzer, Blind Date, Nonsite, and the duo of AVIKRA and N3tizenfour. It's a full bill, and since it's a party, the music is only half the story. The room will be filled with projections and sculptures by Sandy Loaf and Isabella Schubert-Jones, with more projections and installations from Tyler Thompson, and Gab Wound will be running a Halloween table. The whole thing is designed to be experienced at onceโthe music playing while the art is around you.

Because it's part of the Gallery Crawl, you can make this your main event or just one stop on a longer night out in the Cultural District. The Crawl is free and open to the public, so if you're already out that evening, this is an easy one to add to the list. The party itself runs on Friday, October 30, starting at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. You'll find it at Wood Street Galleries, 601 Wood Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
