Free guided hike to see fall foliage at Evergreen Community Park, with a craft activity.
Evergreen Community Park is hosting a Fall Foliage Hike this Friday, October 23, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. It's a guided walk through the park, timed for the peak of the autumn colors, so you'll have someone leading the way to the best spots to see the foliage rather than just wandering on your own. The hike is the main event, and it's designed to get you out into the woods during one of the few weeks of the year when the leaves are really turning.
Along with the walk, there's a craft activity tied to the season. It's a guided hike and a craft in one go, so you'll spend some time on the trail and some time making something. If you're heading out with kids, it's a good way to combine a bit of nature with something to do with your hands.
