Weekly Thursday conversation hour for students of Hindi, run by the University of Pittsburgh's Less-Commonly-Taught Languages Center.
Kya Baat Hai is back at the Global Hub on Thursday, October 29, as part of its Fall 2026 run. It's a weekly conversation hour for students, run by the University of Pittsburgh's Less-Commonly-Taught Languages Center, and this session runs from 6 PM to 7 PM.
If you haven't spent much time there, the Global Hub is the University Center for International Studies' student-centered resource and engagement center, located on the first floor of Posvar Hall. It's designed to connect students to ways of internationalizing their experience at Pitt, both locally and globally, with the goal of turning out "global ready" graduates. Inside, you'll find conversation tables, an Engagement Wall, and a mix of quiet and interactive study spaces.
Beyond the conversation hours, the Hub points the way to area and global studies certificates, the Global Distinction, funding and scholarships, study abroad, service-learning, and international student clubs. It's as much a resource for planning your academic path as it is a place to hang out and talk.
