Halloween dance party cruise with costumes, a dock party and live music from 412 Party Wave for adults over 21.
412 Party Wave is taking over the Gateway Clipper for the Boo & Brew Dance Cruise on Saturday, October 24. It's billed as BOB FM's Halloween dance party, and the whole thing is built around costumes, live music, and a dock party to get things started before you even leave the pier. It's an adults-only night, so you'll need to be 21 or older to get on board.
The cruise is part of the Gateway Clipper's holiday season, which runs from these Halloween trips in October all the way through New Year's Eve. The fleet itself is a Pittsburgh family business that's been sailing the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio rivers since 1958, carrying more than 25 million passengers over the years. They've got a few different boats in the rotation: the Empress is the largest, in service since 1966; the Three Rivers Queen is a three-deck paddlewheeler launched in 2013; the Princess is a steel paddlewheeler from 1999; the Duchess was launched for the Bicentennial; and the Countess is the fastest, an open-air boat. The former Majestic is retired. Outside of the cruises, they also run game-day shuttles to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park.
