All-genders salsa styling workshop led by Nicolette of Los Sabrosos Dance Co., breaking down the flourishes and body movements of salsa for the social dance floor.
Nicolette is leading an all-genders salsa styling workshop at 4909 Penn Ave on Monday, October 26, from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Nicolette is a co-founder of Los Sabrosos Dance Co., and this particular session is built for the social dance floor rather than the stage. The hour is spent breaking down the flourishes and body movements that give salsa its character, aimed at curious learners, students, and skill-builders looking for hands-on knowledge in a focused, interactive setting.
It's open to all levels, so beginners are welcome. While a Salsa 1 foundation is highly recommended, it isn't required to get something out of the hour. The focus is on the styling that carries over to social dancing—the kind of movement you can actually use when you're out dancing with other people, not just something that looks good under stage lights.
