Funk-rock band RIPE performs live at the Crescent Ballroom in downtown Phoenix, with doors opening at 6:30 PM.
RIPE play the Crescent Ballroom on Tuesday, December 1, with doors at 6:30 PM and the show starting at 7:30 PM. The night is presented by Lucky Man Concerts.
If you're not familiar with the band, they're a funk-rock outfit that started by writing their first songs in a basement underneath a Subway sandwich shop and sold their first tickets by hand outside a coffee shop where friends worked. They frame collaboration and community as the center of their work, and that DIY, grassroots energy is still a part of their story. The lineup for the night is just RIPE.
The venue is the Crescent Ballroom, 308 North 2nd Ave in downtown Phoenix. It opened in 2011 and is turning 15 this year, and it's helped redefine downtown Phoenix as a live-music hub. It's a 500-capacity hall with an adjacent cocktail lounge and bleacher-style seating, and it's booked a wide range of genres over the years.
