Free queer singles night with music by DJ Pootiecat, food by Condesa and bingo prizes curated by Chill x Chel.
DJ Pootiecat is hosting a queer singles' night at Valley Bar on Tuesday, October 27, and it's free in the Rose Room. The whole thing is called Pootiecat's Queer Mix & Mingle, and it's built around a few things that make it easy to hang out without having to do all the heavy lifting yourself.
On the music side, DJ Pootiecat is on the decks, so you've got a dance floor to lean on if you're not in the mood for small talk. There are games and drinks to keep the energy moving, and the whole night is framed as a singles' event, which means most people there are in the same boat. It's the kind of setup where you can just show up and let the room do the work for you.
There are a couple of other things to keep in mind before you head over. Condesa is handling the food, so you can grab a bite without leaving the building, and there's bingo with prizes curated by Chill x Chel, which gives you something to do with your hands while you're talking to people. Between the music, the food, and the bingo, there's plenty to fall back on if you're not sure how to start a conversation.
