Live show by Cooper B. Handy under the name Lucy, with Negashi Armada, at Valley Bar.
Lucy is playing Valley Bar on Thursday, October 29, with Cooper B. Handy as the main feature. It's a mid-week show in downtown Phoenix, and the bill puts Handy front and center for the night.
Handy is the name you'll see on the marquee, and he's the one leading the set. He's joined by Negashi Armada, who'll be on stage with him throughout the evening. If you've been following the local scene, you know the two have been working together, and this is one of the nights they're bringing that pairing to a live audience in the city.
It's a Thursday night, so it's a bit of a different slot than the usual weekend run, and it's right in the heart of downtown. The venue is Valley Bar, at 130 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004. If you're coming from outside the center, that puts it right on Central, easy to find and close to plenty of other spots if you're making a night of it.

Tickets are $25, and the music starts at 7 PM. With the show kicking off on a Thursday, it's an early enough start that you can still get home at a decent hour on a work night. Between the 7 PM start and the $25 ticket, it's a straightforward night out in downtown Phoenix.
