Penelope Road, the Atlanta pop, rock and soul quintet, plays the Crescent Ballroom on its 2027 North American tour, with The Takes, presented by Psyko Steve.
Penelope Road play the Crescent Ballroom on Sunday, March 14, as part of the Psyko Steve Presents series. They're an Atlanta quintet whose sound is a warm, harmony-rich blend of classic pop, rock and soul, held together by the vocals of Max Moore (lead vocals, guitar), Charles Eastman (lead vocals, keyboards), Koan Roy-Meighoo (vocals, guitar), James Kopp (bass) and Anthony Smith (drums). The Phoenix date is one stop on a 2027 tour that runs from February 3 in Greenville, South Carolina, to May 13 in Munich, Germany, crossing North America and Europe.
They'll be playing from their debut album, Maybe In Time, a thirteen-song collection released in October 2026. The record came together during breaks in their touring schedule, with the band gathering for writing retreats and studio sessions across the country. Three of those songs — "Maybe In Time," "New Money" and "Smile Again" — came out as singles before the full album arrived. The set will be supported by The Takes.
It's been a big year for them leading up to this run. 2026 included a Grand Ole Opry debut and appearances at Lollapalooza and BottleRock, and this tour is the first time they're taking the new material across two continents. The Phoenix show is 16 and up.
