High-energy, sing-along rod puppet show for ages 2 to 8 in which the farmer and his animal friends find a Halloween costume.
Old MacDonald's Pumpkin Patch is at the Great Arizona Puppet Theater on Friday, October 23, at 10 AM. It's a high-energy, sing-along show built for little ones: the farmer and his animal friends have to find a costume for Halloween, and the story is told with rod puppets and toddler-friendly music. It's recommended for ages 2 to 8, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
The show is part of the theater's family programming, which runs alongside a broader range of puppet work. That includes adult slams and a teen workshop led by Sarah Frechette, founder of PUPPETKABOB and a graduate of the University of Connecticut's Puppetry Arts Program. There's also the annual Imagine This! event, where Kenilworth Elementary students write original stories that the theater turns into puppet shows.
