Austin duo Missio plays The Rebel Lounge in Phoenix with support from FIFTEEN0EIGHT and Kent Osborne.
MISSIO play The Rebel Lounge on Thursday, October 29, as part of a Psyko Steve Presents night. They're sharing the bill with FIFTEEN0EIGHT and Kent Osborne, so it's a full evening rather than just a single set. The show starts at 6 PM.
If you're not familiar with them, MISSIO is an Austin, Texas duo: Matthew Brue, who handles vocals, multi-instruments, and production, and David Butler, who works as engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. They released their debut album, Loner, through RCA Records in May 2017, and its lead single "Middle Fingers" became a global radio hit, debuting on Conan O'Brien's late-night show and reaching number nine on the Billboard Alternative Charts. Since then, they've put out four full-length albums and earned an R.I.A.A. certified Gold Record for "Everybody Gets High."
They describe themselves as a genre-bending, eclectically dark pair, and that's a fair summary of how they've moved since those early days. They've crossed one billion global streams and worked with brands like Shiseido, Summer's Eve, and Armani. On the road, they've headlined in Europe, Russia, and Mexico, and played festivals like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Rock For People, Firefly, and Hangout, touring alongside MUSE, 30 Seconds To Mars, Yungblud, K.Flay, and Nothing But Thieves.
