Irish music, song and dance show produced by Sligo fiddler OisĂn Mac Diarmada, celebrating Christmas traditions with lively instrumental tunes.
Irish Christmas in America plays at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix over two days, Sunday, December 6, and Monday, December 7. It's a show of Irish music, song, and dance produced by Sligo fiddler OisĂn Mac Diarmada, and the Phoenix dates are part of the museum's 2026 Concert Series sponsored by Sanderson Lincoln.
Mac Diarmada fronts the group, and the performance brings together traditional Irish music, song, and dance in a family-friendly show that celebrates Ireland's Christmas traditions. The instrumental tunes are played on fiddle, flute, uilleann pipes, bodhrán, harp, and concertina, with traditional artists from Ireland leading the way. Folk Wax described the show as "lively and reflective . . . a powerful evocation of the season."
