Haunts on High Street

Haunts on High Street takes over High Street on Saturday, October 17, from 4 PM to 11 PM. It's a full day of Halloween activities in Phoenix, and it works for two very different crowds. The afternoon is for the families, and the night is for the adults.

The first half of the day is the Candy Crawl, a free event where kids can make their way through the shops and collect treats. It's the kind of thing that's easy to bring the whole family to without spending a dime. If you've got little ones, that's your window.

Once the sun goes down, the vibe shifts. The 21-and-over Zombie Pub Crawl takes over the evening, and that's where the night really gets going. It's a separate track from the Candy Crawl, so you can do the family stuff early and then head back out later with a different group. If you're planning to do both, you'll want to time it right.

High Street is located at the Loop 101 and State Route 51, so it's easy to get to from most parts of the city. The whole thing runs from 4 PM to 11 PM, and it's free to attend.
