GEMM plays a release show for its album 'Trauma Bonding' with support from Velour, Beyond All Doubt and Silt at The Rebel Lounge.
GEMM are playing The Rebel Lounge on Sunday, Oct. 18, for the release show of their new record, Trauma Bonding. It's the night they bring the album out into the live setting, and they've put together a full bill around it.
They aren't playing alone. Joining them are Velour, Beyond All Doubt, and Silt, so it's a four-band night rather than a single act. The show starts at 7:30 PM, and with that many names on the bill, you'll want to be there early if you're planning to catch the opening sets before GEMM takes the stage.
The venue is The Rebel Lounge, a 3,000-square-foot room near 24th Street and Indian School Road. It sits on the same spot as The Mason Jar, the rock club that ran there for decades, and owner Stephen Chilton and his staff have spent the last 11 years turning it into a live-music hub for local and national indie, hip-hop, and rock acts, with shows running most nights of the week. It's one of the spots in the city that keeps the calendar full.
