Dr. Zombie's Fearful Fridays: Double Feature

Dr. Zombie is back at the Great Arizona Puppet Theater on Friday, October 16, for another edition of Fearful Fridays. It's a double feature of horror films paired with live puppet presentations, and this time the screen is showing The Invisible Ghost and One Body Too Many. The whole night is hosted by Dr. Zombie, who's billed as the most terrifying horror host on 3rd Ave.

It's not just a screening. As the films roll, Dr. Zombie points out the scariest parts, and the audience is encouraged to share their own. The puppet presentations come from his friend Dain 'The Ghoul' GORE, who works the puppets live alongside the films. The two of them frame the whole thing as an 18+ experience for adults only, built on the running joke that education, live performance art, and independent cinema are the things that truly horrify.

The venue is the Great Arizona Puppet Theater at 302 W Latham St in downtown Phoenix, a long-running, spacious spot that programs for both children and adults. This particular night is for the adult crowd, so keep that in mind if you're planning to bring anyone along. The double feature starts at 7 PM, and tickets are $15.
