Common Wounds

Common Wounds are playing CENTRAL RECORDS on Sunday, October 18, with Stitching, YuDAI and Prancer joining the bill. It's a local night, with four bands sharing the stage in one go.

Common Wounds are a post-punk and noise-rock band from right here in Phoenix. If you're not familiar with the sound, that's a fair amount of ground to cover in one set: the driving, angular lines of post-punk meeting the louder, more abrasive side of noise rock. It's the kind of music that usually sits somewhere between a dance floor and a basement, and they're playing it on home turf.

They aren't the only ones on the bill. Stitching, YuDAI and Prancer all open up before them, so you'll get four different acts across the evening rather than just one. With a lineup like that, the night stretches well past a single set, and the music shifts as the bands trade off.

It all goes down at CENTRAL RECORDS, with the music starting at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $10.
