Self-guided art walk through Roosevelt Row on the first Friday of each month, with more than 70 galleries, studios and creative spaces.
Artlink's First Fridays Art Walk takes over the Roosevelt Row Arts District in Phoenix every first Friday of the month, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's one of the largest self-guided art walks in the country, organized by Artlink Inc., and it's built around the neighborhood itself rather than a single venue. Instead of one gallery or one show, the whole district becomes the event.
The format is simple: you walk through the neighborhood and stop at more than 70 galleries, studios, and creative spaces. The route is run by the organizations that make up the district's arts scene, so you're seeing work from the people who actually live and work here. Because it's self-guided, you can take it as slow or as fast as you want—drop into a few spots and call it a night, or spend the whole evening working your way through the blocks.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Phoenix and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Since it's a recurring thing, it's an easy one to keep in the back of your mind for whenever you're in the mood for a night of art. It runs from 6 PM to 10 PM every first Friday, so you've got a four-hour window to wander through the district and see as much as you like.
