Affion Crockett

Affion Crockett is playing StandUpLive Phoenix on Friday, October 16, and if you're not familiar with him, he's a lot more than just a stand-up. He's an actor, writer, dancer, and comic, and that variety shows up in his work. He's guest-starred on NBC's Superstore and has a long list of film credits, including Undercover Brother 2, Dance Flick with the Wayans Brothers, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, Soul Men with Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac, and The Wedding Ringer.

On television, he's appeared on The Guest Book, Blackish, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Comedians, and he's a recurring face on IFC's Sherman's Showcase. He starred in and co-executive produced the Fox sketch series In the Flow with Affion Crockett alongside Jamie Foxx, debuted on HBO's Def Comedy Jam, and became a regular on MTV's Wild 'N Out. His online sketch and parody videos have gathered more than 50 million YouTube views, which caught Russell Simmons' attention and led to the series Hustles with Russells, with appearances by Dr. Dre, LeBron James, and Jay-Z.

If you've never seen him live, his stand-up special Affion Crockett: Mirror II Society streams on LOL Network, Sirius XM, Xumo, and Pluto TV, so you can get a feel for his style before the show. The set at StandUpLive Phoenix runs from 7 PM to 9:45 PM on Friday, October 16.
