Free annual dog costume contest with Big Dog and Small Dog categories, judged on creativity, originality and cuteness.
Greenwood Brewing is hosting the 6th Annual Pup Costume Contest on Sunday, October 25, in downtown Phoenix. It's a dog costume contest, plain and simple, and it's free to enter.
There are two categories: Big Dog for pups 30 pounds and over, and Small Dog for those under 30. The judging looks at creativity, originality, and overall cuteness, so whether you've spent weeks sewing a custom outfit or just found a funny accessory that fits, your dog has a shot. The contest is hosted by Fran Zanzucchi of My Home Group, and Greenwood Brewing is presenting the whole thing.
It's not just the contest, either. Puppy Luv Animal Rescue, Celestial Stem, and Pawtery will be there as vendors, so you can browse while you wait for the judging to start. If you're not entering, it still works as a place to hang out and watch dogs in costumes.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Phoenix and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
