Brand New

Brand New play the TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann on Friday, October 16, 2026. It's a single-bill night, so they're the only act on the program.

If you're not familiar with the name, the band formed in 2000 in Merrick, Long Island, as an alternative rock outfit fronted by vocalist, guitarist and lyricist Jesse Lacey, alongside guitarist Vincent Accardi, bassist Garrett Tierney and drummer Brian Lane. They came up through the Long Island indie and hardcore scene with bands like The Movielife, From Autumn to Ashes, Glassjaw and Taking Back Sunday, and put out their debut, Your Favorite Weapon, in 2001. Their second album, Deja Entendu (2003), gave them the singles "The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows" and "Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades," earned a Gold certification and kept them in heavy rotation on the Vans Warped Tour.

After a major-label bidding war, they signed with DreamWorks/Interscope and released The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me in 2006, which became one of the most influential albums of the emo era. That was followed by Daisy (2009), which reached No. 6 on the Billboard 200, and Science Fiction (2017), which debuted at No. 1. Between the early hardcore-leaning stuff and the later, more expansive records, there's a fair amount of ground to cover.

Doors open at 6:30 PM and the show starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $57.90.
