Trans-Siberian Orchestra brings The Ghosts of Christmas Eve to the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Sunday, December 20, 2026. It's part of their 30th anniversary tour, marking three decades since the late Paul O'Neill launched the project in 1996. Since then, TSO has grown into a multi-platinum progressive rock 'rock theater' act with more than $1 billion in gross ticket sales.
They don't just play the same show every year. Music director and guitarist Al Pitrelli explains that they reimagine The Ghosts of Christmas Eve annually to make it bigger than the one before, following O'Neill's insistence on giving audiences more show than they could have imagined. That translates to over-the-top lasers, pyrotechnics, and special effects on stage.
Philadelphia has a long history with the band. The city was on TSO's very first tour in 1999, when the show played the Tower Theatre, and it's been part of the December run ever since. Pennsylvania has hosted 240 TSO shows across every touring year since 1999. One dollar from every ticket goes to local charities, a gesture that has put more than half a million dollars back into the community.
