Bike Routes are playing The First Unitarian Church on Saturday, December 12, their first annual holiday show. It's a bill with Rich People, Equipment, and Jetty Bones.
Bike Routes is the project of David Osterhout, a South Jersey native who put himself on the map with his 2020 debut Just Let It Go. He followed that with Love Is An Action in 2022, and then the Rush of Energy EP in 2024, which gave us "You Want It You Got It" and "World Apart"—two of the songs that have stuck with fans. His third full-length LP, PRAIRIE, features the single "Delicate," which has saxophone by Jake Clemons of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. The record has drawn co-signs from both Jack Antonoff and Springsteen himself.
Rich People are a South Jersey and Philly alternative/emo band whose music grew out of a period of active addiction. Equipment are a power-pop quartet coming in from Toledo, Ohio's DIY scene. Jetty Bones round out the bill.
