AJJ play their album 'Disposable Everything' live with special guests Greet Death in an all-ages show at the First Unitarian Church.
AJJ play The First Unitarian Church on Monday, November 2, with Greet Death opening. It's an all-ages show presented by R5 Productions.
AJJ started in 2004 as the project of Sean Bonnette and Ben Gallaty, and these days it's a full band: guitarist and keyboardist Preston Bryant, cellist Mark Glick, and drummer Kevin Higuchi. They've built a career around weaving apocalyptic themes into their songs, and they've toured with the likes of Joyce Manor, Against Me!, ROAR, Jeff Rosenstock, and Kimya Dawson. Their 2020 track "Body Terror Song" became a viral TikTok hit, and they've put out eight studio records so far.
This tour centers on Disposable Everything, their eighth album and their debut on Hopeless Records, which came out in 2023. Bonnette says it was inspired by his mother's death, and he calls it their happiest record. It followed Good Luck Everybody, which they self-released in January 2020.

The show is at The First Unitarian Church, 2125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103. Doors open at 7:30 PM and the show starts at 8 PM. Tickets are $33.02.
