Free shadow-puppetry workshops led by Emma Boor and Euton Daley of Wild Boor Ideas, part of the 2026 Oxford Christmas Light Festival.
Emma Boor and Euton Daley are running shadow-puppet workshops at Pegasus Theatre in East Oxford on Saturday 14 November. They're working under the name Wild Boor Ideas, and the workshops are part of the 2026 Oxford Christmas Light Festival, which runs from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November and brings light parades, trails and installations across the city. Councillor Susan Brown, Leader of Oxford City Council, said the festival brings communities and residents together as the city heads into the festive season.
Emma Boor brings 26 years of experience in family-friendly puppet theatre, with classics like The Elves and the Shoemaker and Supermarket Scrooge behind her. Over the last 15 years she's developed the interactive session Play the World, which now runs in 16 different themes and uses shadow puppetry, household objects and play inspired by early years schemas. Wild Boor Ideas also stages more than ten Sensory Shows for audiences who need to access theatre differently, incorporating Social Stories, Makaton signing and pre- and post-show support.
