Stand-up show 'Rules' by Tom Stade, packed with observational humour, storytelling and audience interaction, at The Glee Club.
Tom Stade brings his new show Rules to The Glee Club on Wednesday 18 November, part of his tour across the UK and Ireland. It's a solo stand-up set, and he's the only name on the bill for the night.
Rules is a brand-new show that follows his run at the Edinburgh Fringe and his last tour, which he describes as a smash hit. He bills it as stand-up packed with observational humour, storytelling and audience interaction, so it's the kind of set that pulls from the room as much as from the script. If you've seen him before, this is the new material he's been working on since the Fringe.
Stade hails from suburban Canada but has made the UK his home, and from there he's become one of the country's leading stand-up talents, headlining across Britain and performing at major comedy festivals worldwide, from New York and Aspen to Montreal, Toronto, Amsterdam, Adelaide and Melbourne. His television credits run the length of Comedy Central's The Comedy Store and The World Stand's Up for Comedy Central, ITV2's Comedy Cuts, BBC One's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Channel 4's Stand Up For The Week, BBC 3's Edinburgh Festival Live and Dave's One Night Stand, and he co-wrote and co-starred with Frankie Boyle in the Channel 4 series Tramadol Nights.
