Stand-up comedian Tim Vine brings his 'Sillypun Valley' tour to the New Theatre Oxford, with comedy magician John Archer on the bill.
Tim Vine brings his new stand-up show Sillypun Valley to New Theatre Oxford on Saturday 15 May 2027, part of a UK tour running from April to October. If you've seen him before, you know the drill: rapid-fire one-liners, wordplay, and deliberately daft ideas. It's not a long narrative or a topical message; it's just a steady stream of jokes that don't stop for air. Sillypun Valley adds homemade props and short musical interludes to the stand-up, so there's a bit more on stage than just a man and a microphone.
Vine has been at this since the early 90s, when he started on the London comedy circuit. He took The Tim Vine Fiasco to Edinburgh and has since toured BREEEEP! and Sunset Milk Idiot. On screen, he was in ITV's BAFTA-winning The Sketch Show, Taskmaster, and Celebrity Pottery Throwdown, and he played his Plastic Elvis alter ego in the film Rocker 'Brella Fella. He's won Dave's Best Joke of the Fringe twice, in 2010 and 2014, and brought his audience-interview format to Radio 4's The Tim Vine Chat Show.
