BAFTA-nominated comedian Rachel Parris brings her favourite songs from her comedy career alongside new stand-up.
Rachel Parris brings The Rachel Parris Songbook to the Oxford Playhouse on Wednesday 7 April 2027, starting at 7:30pm. It's a bit of a retrospective: she's pulling together some of her favourite songs from the last fifteen years of her comedy career and pairing them with brand new stand-up. There's also room for the audience to sing along, and maybe an a cappella number in there too.
If you've only caught her on the telly, you'll recognise the name. She's a BAFTA-nominated comedian, best known for The Mash Report and as a regular face on British panel shows — Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week, QI, Would I Lie To You and Live at the Apollo all come into it. She's also a fixture on BBC Radio 4's Just A Minute and I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, and a founder and cast member of the award-winning improv show Austentatious. This is a different sort of night, though — the songs are the focus here, not the panel work.
