Family screening of Aardman's animated Halloween film 'Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom' at Vue Cinema Oxford.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom is showing at Vue Cinema in Oxford on Saturday 17 October. It's a family animated film that takes the usual Mossy Bottom Farm gang and puts them in a Halloween setting, with Shaun turning into a mad scientist as the main hook.
If you're not familiar with the setup, the whole thing is built around the stop-motion world Aardman has spent years refining, so it's the same claymation style you'll recognise from the series. The story follows Shaun as he gets a bit too carried away with his experiments on the farm, and the Halloween theme gives it a slightly spookier edge than the usual episodes, though it's still very much aimed at families. It's the kind of thing that works as well for the kids as it does for anyone who grew up with the show.
