Free all-ages project of gentle movement and games with hot drinks and snacks, part of Dancin' Oxford's Autumn Family Dance Festival.
The Rose Hill Intergenerational Project is running at Rose Hill Community Centre this autumn, with sessions on Thursday 22 October, 29 October, 5 November and 12 November, from 10:00 to 11:30am. It's a free project for people of all ages, so it's one of those things you can bring the kids along to, or come to yourself and meet a few new faces from across the neighbourhood. The sessions combine gentle movement and games with free hot drinks and snacks, and they're part of Dancin' Oxford's Autumn Family Dance Festival, which they've billed as a month of dance, creativity and family fun.
It's hosted at the Rose Hill Community Centre on Carole's Way, which opened in 2016 and brought a fair few community facilities under one roof: there's a gym, a dance studio, a social club, an advice centre, a police office, rooms for hire and two Aunt Sally pitches, one indoor and one outdoor. The project runs across four Thursdays, so you can drop in for one or come along to all of them. Each session is free, and the hot drinks and snacks are on the house too.
