Autumn ceramics fair with more than 60 UK ceramic artists and potters, talks and live demonstrations at St Edward's School.
The Oxford Ceramics Fair returns to St Edward's School on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, continuing a run that's now gone on for more than three decades. It's one of the longest-running ceramics fairs in the UK, and it comes back to the school's main campus on Woodstock Road every autumn.
Inside, you'll find a curated collection of more than 60 ceramic artists and potters from across the UK, so there's a fair bit to look at in one go. Alongside the work on display, there's a programme of talks and live demonstrations that let you meet the makers and get a bit of insight into contemporary ceramics. It's as much about the people behind the pieces as the work itself.
On the practical side, the fair runs 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Entry is either before or after 1pm, and once you're in, you can stay as long as you like. The venue is step-free on one level, with accessible parking for Blue Badge holders, a drop-off area outside the main entrance, and one free companion for disabled visitors who need assistance. Service and assistance animals are welcome.
