Weekly free organ recital held every Wednesday during term time at Queen's College Chapel.
Queen's College Chapel is running a series of organ recitals throughout the Michaelmas term, with the first one on Wednesday 21 October. It's a weekly thing, so if you miss the first, there's another the following Wednesday, and so on until 2 December.
Each recital runs for 45 minutes, which is a good length for a lunchtime break β long enough to get into it, but not so long that you're rushing back to your desk. Because they're on every Wednesday, you can drop in for one or make a habit of it across the term. If you're not a regular organ listener, it's a low-stakes way to start: you can just pick a Wednesday that suits you and see how you find it.
They're held in the chapel, which is right on the High Street in the centre of town. It's a central spot, so it's easy to get to whether you're coming from work or just spending the day in the city. The recitals start at 1.10pm, and they're free, so there's nothing to book in advance β you can just turn up.
