Live music night with witchy goth folk from Barricane, indie from Reading's doops and singer-songwriter Beth Eliza, promoted by Gappy Tooth Industries.
Barricane, doops and Beth Eliza share a bill at Common Ground Workspace on Friday 30 October, from 8pm to 11pm. It's a three-act night put on by local promoter Gappy Tooth Industries, and the three names on the poster don't exactly point in the same direction.
Barricane bring witchy goth folk, so that's the darker, moodier end of the evening. doops come from Reading with sparkling indie, which sits a fair way from the goth folk, and Beth Eliza is a new singer-songwriter, so you've got a fresh voice in the mix as well. It's a bit of a scatter, but that's the point of a bill like this — you get three different sounds in one night rather than three versions of the same thing.
